Let’s face it, weeds are annoying and certainly frustrating! There are four main methods of weed control. Mechanical, cultural, chemical and biological. Manually removing weeds either by pulling, hoeing, machinery, or mulching or even using plastic sheeting would be classed as mechanical weeding.
A home method to removing weeds, would be to use household vinegar! Vinegar is considered to be a herbicide, that may kill weeds and unwanted plants by drying out the plant above the ground. Using vinegar however, would only work on weeds with shallow roots. Bleach can also be an effective way to treat weeds.
